Band Of The Day: Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti

Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti are set to release their debut full length album on legendary British indie label 4AD later this year. Ariel Pink was previously the first act to sign to Animal Collective’s Paw Tracks in 2003. The first track to be released off the album is ‘Round & Round’ which compared to old Ariel Pink stuff is less DIY and more polished shaken off somewhat the tag of Lo-fi that is associated with the band. It is a beautiful piece of music which includes one of the most uplifting choruses i have heard for a long time, coupled with a more disco-esque feel this is definitely my track of 2010 so far and a big contender for track of the year im sure in many peoples eyes. Round & Round is set for release on 7”inch through 4AD on 26th April.
